Coming in 2025:
“That’s a Good Question”: FAQs about Woodstock
At the Woodstock History Center, we frequently get asked certain questions. One of our new exhibits for 2025, entitled That's a Good Question, seeks to answer some of these questions and provide historical context. This interactive exhibit will be located in the Barn Gallery as part of the current Hindsight 20/20 exhibit that provides an overview of Woodstock's history over the past 250 years.
Vermont Sampler Driving Tour
Summer 2025: Vermont Sampler Driving Tour. Twenty Vermont sites - museums, historical societies, and public libraries – will hold a sampler exhibit, where at least 6 Vermont samplers will be on view. Many privately owned samplers, never seem in public before, will be on view for the first time.
In cooperation with the State of Vermont's 250th Commemoration of the start of the American Revolution in 1775, the tour features samplers made by the descendants of Revolutionary War Veterans and showcases the values, artistry, and degrees of success of these families. It is hoped that the tour results in more samplers added to the Vermont Sampler database and the National Sampler Archive.
